Hakkerileiri is a nonprofit hacker camp that draws its inspiration from international hacker camps, such as CCCamp. As this kind of event was missing from Finnish cyber scene, we wanted to create a space where curious minds could gather, share knowledge, and experiment freely out in the beautiful Finnish nature. So what does this mean? A Hakkerileiri is a multi-day, outdoor, community-organized gathering where hackers, engineers, and technology enthusiasts spend time outdoors, share knowledge, and collaborate on projects of their interest. The camp is created by its participants.
